Anytime! Use your Orion when it works best for you or around certain times for specific benefits. Some people use their Orion in the morning to increase alertness and energy. Others wait until after a workout for improved muscle recovery. The important thing is consistent daily use.

TARGETING AREAS

Many of the health benefits from red light therapy are a result of consistent, full-body use. However, it is recommended to directly target symptomatic areas such as sore muscles, stiff joints, or acne. In these cases, direct treatment leads to deeper penetration of red and NIR into the tissue for optimal results.

CLOTHING

The more surface area of your body that's exposed to the light, the more effective the red light therapy treatment. Clothing prevents the red and NIR light from penetrating through your skin to your cells, so be sure to remove any garments from the part of your body you're treating.

PROTECTIVE EYEWEAR

We recommend wearing protective eyewear during your red light therapy sessions. Avoid looking directly into the LEDs. Many see benefits like reduced inflammation and muscle soreness in a matter of days, or weeks. More full-body health benefits like skin health, fat loss, and other long-term improvements may take 2-3 months of consistent daily use.

More doesn’t always mean better! Treatments longer than 20 minutes won’t necessarily lead to greater benefits because your cells can only absorb so much light each day. The great thing about Orion is that you can obtain the same benefits in less time versus other products on the market because of our industry-leading irradiance. We recommend 10-15 minute treatments (and 20 minute treatments for symptomatic areas) up to 2 times per day for the best results.

Protective eyewear is included with each device and is recommended to be worn at all times. Do not stare directly into the light without protective eyewear. We recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider if you have any eye conditions.

Orion RLT devices include a 60-day trial period. You can return your device for any reason (some exceptions apply) within 60 days for a full refund.

Returns must be postmarked before the end of the 60-day trial, which commences upon receipt of the product. Returns shipped after 60 days will not be accepted.
